The petitioners are in custody since 9.7.2014 in Sherghati P.S.Case No.72 of 2014 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 326, 307 and 302 of the I.P.C. and Section 3(X)/3/(2)(v) of SC/ST Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the incident in question took place on account of lighting of Holika Dahan and the petitioners who had been working outside had come to the village for the purpose of Holi, have been falsely implicated in the present case for no fault on them.
