The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kotwa P.S. Case No. 2 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 37(b) (c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding the petitioner having been arrested by the Police when he was under the influence of liquor.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is submitted that though the petitioner is an accused in two other cases but he is on bail in the said two cases. Lastly, it is submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 7th Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Kotwa P.S.
