2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Brahmpur P.S. Case No. 430/2024, registered for the offence under Sections 80, 238, 61(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per prosecution case, the marriage of informant's daughter was solemnized with petitioner no. 4 on 11.06.2023 and at the time of Bidai, the petitioners demanded one Apache motorcycle and refused to take her Bidai, on which, informant told to fulfill their demand within 4 months and thereafter, accused-petitioners took her Bidai. It is further alleged that after the marriage, the accused persons started

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6567 of 2025(2) dt.03-03-2025 2/2 torturing her for Apache motorcycle, on which, informant and other went there to pacify them, but accursed persons did not listen to informant and threatened to kill his daughter and lastly, on 03.05.2024, they killed her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are innocent and have committed no offence. Petitioner no. 1 is father-in-law, petitioner no. 2 & 5 are Bhaisur, petitioner no. 3 is Dewar and petitioner no. 4 is husband of the deceased. He further submits that when the deceased became pregnant, she went to her parents' house and during delivery, condition of the deceased deteriorated and while being taken to hospital, she died.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition and submitted that there is specific and direct allegation against these petitioners of committing torture to deceased for dowry. Deceased died within seven years of marriage at her matrimonial house in an unnatural circumstances.

6. Considering the same, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioners is rejected.
