JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 12-09-2017 Challenging the order of confiscation, confiscating Mahua and other substances, the raw materials, which can be used for manufacturing of liquor, petitioner has filed this writ petition. Petitioner seeks release of the material in question. This Court has only passed interim protection and directed for release of vehicles or property seized and has not granted any benefit in the matter of release of raw material seized which can be used for manufacture of liquor.

That being so, we are not inclined to interfere into the matter as the confiscation order has already been passed. The petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.12934 of 2017 dt.12-09-2017 2/2 may challenge the confiscation order by taking recourse to such remedy as may be permissible in law.

Finding no case made out for release of the raw material in question, the matter stands disposed of with the aforesaid liberty to the petitioner.
