The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Rajpur P.S. Case No.24 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 504, 506, 354, 337 and 379 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioners that there is civil dispute between the parties and the present case has been instituted with an intention to harass and put pressure upon the petitioners to settle the dispute in favour of the informant. It is further contended that a general, sweeping, vague and omnibus allegation has been made against

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5720 of 2020(2) dt.04-03-2020 2/2 all the accused persons and an apprehension has been raised that in future the petitioners may damage the reputation and property of the informant.

Learned counsel for the State has opposed the application for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioners. Regard being had to the general and omnibus nature of allegation, in the event of arrest or surrender in the court below, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Bikramganj, Rohtas in connection with Rajpur P.S. Case No.24 of 2018 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.) Sanjeet/- U T
