The prosecution story in short is that the petitioner established physical relation on the false promise of marriage. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and the informant have solemnized marriage and therefore, in the interest of justice, this application may be quashed.

The girl has appeared in this Court suo motu and she has submitted that she has solemnized marriage with the petitioner and she is living happily with the petitioner. In these circumstances, this application is allowed. Accordingly, the Hilsa P.S. Case No. 608 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act are hereby
