This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Chandi P.S. Case No. 147 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 302, 504 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The petitioner had earlier approached this Court for grant of regular bail, which was rejected by an order dated 08.07.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 4611 of 2020. From the First Information Report, it is evident that there is direct allegation against the petitioner of having opened fire at one Chandeo Singh, who sustained firearm injury. It is further alleged that when the informant's cousin reached to the place of occurrence on hearing the sound of fire, he was assaulted by co accused Sudhar Yadav.

No.18199 of 2021(2) dt.28-07-2021 2/2 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that so far he is concerned, an offence under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code only is made out and since he is in custody since 22.111.2019, he deserves to be released on bail.

In my opinion, no case for grant of regular bail is made out for the present considering the gravity of the offence and the accusation against the petitioner to the effect that the shot fire by him hit in the chest of victim Chandeo Singh. No fresh ground is made out for reconsideration of the petitioner's prayer for regular bail, which was earlier rejected. This application is accordingly rejected.
