JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 16-01-2018 The petitioners, by way of the present writ petition, have prayed for permitting them to participate in the physical test to be conducted for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police.

The grievance of the petitioners, primarily, arises

Patna High Court CWJC No.788 of 2018 (2) dt.16-01-2018 2/2 from Annexure-5 dated 17.12.2017 which is a notice issued by the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna by which, various candidates have been called for the physical test however, the role numbers of the petitioners do not find place in the said list. From a bare perusal of Annexure-5 dated 17.12.2017, it appears that those candidates who did not find their names in the said list, had to file a representation but the petitioners had failed to do so.

Although, the remedy of the petitioners by way of approaching this Court is misplaced but in the interest of justice, it is directed that the petitioners may file representation by today (i.e. 16.01.2018) before the concerned authorities as mentioned in the notice dated 17.12.2017 and in case, such representation is filed, the same be considered and disposed of by a reasoned order by 18th of January, 2018 positively.
