JUSTICE NAVANITI PRASAD SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-01-2015 The petitioner is in custody for about a year in relation to an offence under the N.D.P.S. Act for allegedly having in possession and carrying above 20 kgs. of Ganja. In course of investigation, forensic science report has come affirming the goods to be Ganja. In respect of Ganja 20 kgs. and above is treated to be a commercial quantity.

In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail especially in view of Section-35 of the N.D.P.S. Act. Let the trial be expedited.

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
