The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 498A of the IPC and under section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The allegation against the petitioner is that he subjected his wife to physical and mental torture due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. It is submitted that the allegation is false and concocted. The petitioner is in jail since 05.06.2015.
