The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 30(a) and 36 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 2.8.2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew her prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner has remained in custody for more than 1 year since 10.1.2021.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the liberty

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8743 of 2022(2) dt.23-02-2022 2/2 granted by the aforesaid order dated 2.8.2021 and the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Special Case no.266 of 2021 (arising out of Agamkuan P.S. Case no.27 of 2021) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge (Excise Act), Patna City, Patna.
