2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):
"for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents authorities to make payment of rest of amount amounting Rs. 5,75,996/- to the petitioners as per judgment dated 18.05.2009 and decree dated 30.06.2009 of Learned Sub Judge- 1 cum Land Acquisition Judge, Sitamarhi in L.A. Case No. 2 of 2003 and for issuance of an appropriate
Patna High Court CWJC No.12284 of 2016(2) dt.22-07-2025 2/3 writ / order / direction for which the petitioners may be found entitled in the facts and circumstances stated hearing below."

A counter-affidavit of the respondent nos. 4 and 5 is on record in which Annexure-C has been attached to inform that under the compromise, the petitioner received Rs. 4,90,000/- and also put in his signature on 12.01.2018. The aforesaid fact stands recorded in paragraph-15 of the said counter-affidavit.
4. It is to be noted that the counter-affidavit was filed in the year 2019 and one Mr. D.P. Singh, PC to GP-18 after recording not found filed the counter-affidavit inasmuch as from the record, it is not clear whether the copy was served upon the learned counsel for the petitioner or not.
5. In that background, a cost of Rs. 500/- is imposed to the said Mr. D.P. Singh if he is attached to the office of GP-18 and he shall be depositing the said amount in the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee by Friday and the receipt shall be filed in the Office by Monday (28.07.2025).
6. In view of the fact that the petitioner has accepted the compensation amount, as recorded above, the writ petition stands disposed of.
7. It is to be made clear that if the petitioners have any
Patna High Court CWJC No.12284 of 2016(2) dt.22-07-2025 3/3 grievance, they shall be free to approach the competent authority/Court for the redressal of the grievance.
8. List this case under the heading "To be Mentioned" on 29.07.2025 to check whether the fine of Rs. 500/- has been deposited by the aforesaid person or not.
