The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Excise Case No.420 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. It is submitted that the alleged recovery of liquor was made from the joint house of the petitioner.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail by contending that 48 bottles each containing 180 ml Indian made foreign liquor were recovered from the washroom/toilet of the petitioner. Therefore, he does not deserve anticipatory bail.
