ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 23-06-2025 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that though the petitioner has made a representation dated 18.08.2021 (Annexure 5) for payment of the amount, the authority till date has not taken the action for making the payment of interest on the delayed payment.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents-State has stated that the representation dated 18.08.2021 (Annexure 5) given by the petitioner may not be available on record and the petitioner may be directed to file a fresh representation before the concerned authority, i.e, Respondent No. 4.

3. Having regard to the same, the present writ petition

Patna High Court CWJC No.2410 of 2025(2) dt.23-06-2025 2/2 is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make a suitable representation to the Respondent No. 4 within a period of four weeks from today. On such representation being made the same shall be considered in accordance with law and necessary orders passed. In case the claim made by the petitioner is found to be genuine, the Respondent No. 4 shall make necessary arrangement for payment of the interest. In case the Respondent No. 4 comes to the conclusion that the claim made by the petitioner is liable to be rejected, he shall pass a reasoned orders giving the reasons for rejecting his claim. The entire exercise to be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date receipt of the copy of the representation from the petitioner. Any order passed shall be communicated to the petitioner.

5. With the above directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
