1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the present application is for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/ directions to the respondent authorities towards extension of service related retirement of the petitioner and the petitioner Yogendra Yadav's Home Guard No. is 255 and appointment dated 07.03.1987, and enrollment date is 01.01.1987, Retirement date is 01.01.2025 in spite this the petitioner has been retired on 31.12.2020 by the

Patna High Court CWJC No.2978 of 2024(2) dt.07-03-2024 2/2 Respondent No. 4 District Commandant, Home Guard, West Champaran, Bettiah."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Collector, West Champaran at Bettiah, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation is filed by the petitioner, before the Collector, West Champaran at Bettiah, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
