Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Saraiya (Jaitpur O.P.) P.S. Case No. 185 of 2016 (Trial No. 3943 of 2021) for the offence punishable under Sections 363, 365, 498(A)/34, 304(B) and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. There is direct and specific allegation against the petitioner, who is mother-in-law of the deceased, of demand of dowry and torture.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that subsequently the informant has resiled from the prosecution story.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed.
