The petitioner seeks bail in Barachatti (Mohanpur) P.S. Case No. 529 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is a case of dowry death. Petitioner happens to be mother-in-law of the deceased.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that thrust of accusation is against husband of the deceased who is already in custody. Petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased and she is separate in mess and property. There is general and omnibus allegation. Petitioner is in custody since 02.09.2021 having no criminal antecedent.
