The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is that notwithstanding the decision to change the name of the College, in question, i.e. Samta Mahavidyalaya, Jandaha, Vaishali as Muneshwar Singh Muneshwari Mahavidyalaya.

The kind of relief prayed for in the present writ application is totally misconceived. This issue is within the realm of the University and the Governing Body of the College

Patna High Court CWJC No.17459 of 2017(2) dt.26-07-2019 2/2 and in exercise of jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution, the Court is not supposed to exercise such power. In the facts and circumstances, the writ application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Governing Body of the College and the University concerned for redressal of his grievance.

The Court hope and trust that the Governing Body of the College and the University will take appropriate decision with regard to change in the name of the College at the earliest. (Anil Kumar Upadhyay, J) uday/- U
