JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 10-08-2023 Heard Mr. Anuj Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner and Mr. Vijay Kumar Verma, learned AC to G.A-2 for the State.

2. The hard copy of counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent No.5 is directed to be kept on record.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/State informs this Court that the principal amount on account of G.P.F. has already been paid to the petitioner in accordance with relevant rate of interest. He further submits that the G.P.F. amount for the period from 1983 to 1992 during which contributions were made is required to be determined by

4. Considering the information given by the learned counsel for the State, the Executive Engineer, Irrigation Circle No.1, Laxmipur, Jamui, Bihar (Respondent No.4) is directed to ensure that the petitioner is paid due amount on account of delay in making payment of G.P.F. The petitioner, if so advised, may file a detailed representation along with all evidences and the law laid down by the Apex Court.

5. With the above observations and directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
