2. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 69, 115 ( 2 ), 3(5) of the BNS and section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and later on sections 4, 6 of the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act ( POCSO Act ) and 65(1) , 318 ( 4 ) of the BnS was added.

The prosecution case , in brief, is that the informant, namely Sabina Khatoon, alleged that on the pretext of marriage , this petitioner namely Sahbaz Ansari established physical relation with informant for four years but later he refused to marry her. It is further alleged that mother of Sahbaz Ansari namely Nawaki sakina demanded Rs. 60,000/- for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6649 of 2025(4) dt.23-06-2025 2/2 ornaments and Rs. 20,000/- in cash . It is further alleged that the accused persons also assaulted her and demanded a Bullet motorcycle and Rs. 3 lakh as dowry, and the accused fled to Delhi on 08.08.2024 .

4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that dispute has already been settled between the parties and compromise petition dated 07.01.2025 has been filed before learned Court below .

Learned counsel for the Opposite party No. 2 does not dispute the contention made on behalf of petitioner. 6 Considering the fact that dispute between the parties has already been resolved and other circumstances of the case , in the event of arrest or surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Bettiah Mahila in connection with Bettiah P.S. Case No. 38 of 2024 , subject to the conditions laid down under section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 .
