====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-05-2023 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State.

Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offence punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code. As per prosecution case, this petitioner along with other accused persons committed robbery in the house of the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Name of the petitioner transpired in the present case only on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused, namely, Md. Matin and no stolen article has been found from the possession of the petitioner.

However, learned counsel for the State opposes the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8177 of 2023(2) dt.12-05-2023 2/2 prayer for bail and submits that name of the petitioner transpired on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused and petitioner has got four more criminal antecedents out of which two are of similar nature.

Considering the aforesaid facts, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
