Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Liquor was allegedly recovered from possession of the petitioner. After the present case, the petitioner is accused in connection with Muzaffarpur (Town) P.S. Case No. 484 of 2020. Investigation of the case against the petitioner is already complete. Petitioner is in custody since 07.12.2020. Considering the facts of this case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail, after framing of the charges
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17707 of 2021(2) dt.06-08-2021 2/2 so that trial may not hamper, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Muzaffarpur Town Police Station Case No. 791 of 2020, subject to the following conditions:- (a) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner. (b) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
