The petitioner is in custody in connection with Hilsa P.S. Case No. 571 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 353, 307, 323, 427, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation is that 100 people assembled and blocked the road on account of dispute on the eve of immersion of Goddess Laxmi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 31.10.2019.

Considering the fact that the petitioner was among the mob of 100 persons, who were involved in blocking of road on account of their emotional feeling due to disturbances of immersion of idol of Goddess Laxmi, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5558 of 2020(2) dt.31-01-2020 2/2 of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Hilsa P.S. Case No. 571 of 2019.
