JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-08-2016 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State. The Petitioner seeks bail in G.R.P. Mokama (Hathidah) P.S. case No.06 of 2011 (Sessions Trial No.756 of 2013) instituted for the offence under Sections 395 and 412 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge 4th, Barh, Patna.

This is the fourth attempt for grant of bail on behalf of the petitioner.

A report was called for from the Trial Court regarding the stage of the trial. It has been reported that the charges have been framed and the trial will be concluded within a period of six months.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected. The Trial Court is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial preferably within a period of six months. The District Magistrate, Patna and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna are also directed to ensure that the prosecution witnesses are produced on the date fixed by the Trial Court so that the trial may be concluded within the stipulated period.
