2. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 137(2) and 140(3) of the B.N.S., 2023.
3. As per the prosecution case, on 14.10.2024, son of informant namely Ayush Kumar @ Kishan Kumar went to visit Durga temple at 5 PM, but did not return. Thereafter, informant and his relative started searching him but he was not found. F.I.R., has been lodged against unknown.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is quite innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case only on suspicion. Petitioner happens to be father of Amrita Kumari, with whom there is allegation of love affairs of informant's son and due to this reason, his name has figured in this case. Petitioner has got no concern with the alleged occurrence. Petitioner is in custody since 14.11.2024, having no

However, learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposes the prayer for bail and submits that it is a case of honour killing, in which, all the accused persons including this petitioner committed murder of son of informant, on suspicion, that son of informant had love affair with his daughter Amrita Kumari. Post-mortem report reveals that multiple injuries were found on the body of deceased Ayush Kumar.
6. Considering the nature of accusation, material available on record and gravity of offence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
