2. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for following reliefs:- (i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to restore/ deliver the possession of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.2586 of 2025(2) dt.24-02-2025 2/3 land situated at Mauja-Kanchanpur, Thana No.235 pertaining of Khata No.236, Plot 389 area 1 acre, 1 acre and 1 acre respectively which had already settled in the name of Deolal Chamar, Dhanpat Chamar and Ram Ashish Ram (ancestors of the petitioners) vide Land Settlement Case No.93/7576 vide order dated 23.09.1975 (contained in annexure- P/2 herein) and possession of aforesaid land had already delivered in the year 1975 and now petitioners have been illegally obstructed by (respondent No.6 to 8 herein) for taking possession of the same.

(ii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to consider the representations of petitioners dated 24.09.2024 with regard to possession of the settled land which has been forcibly obstructed by the respondents No. 6 to 8. (iii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove the land from the possession of make respondent No. 6 to 8 and make delivery of the possession to petitioners.

(iv) Issuance of any other appropriate writ(s) or order(s) or direction(s) which may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

3. The petitioner claims himself to be the settlee/allottee of the Government land.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that some persons are attempting to dispossess him from the land, in question.

5. Learned counsel for the State has submitted that

Patna High Court CWJC No.2586 of 2025(2) dt.24-02-2025 3/3 alternative remedy is available under Section 4 of the Bihar Land Disputes Resolution Act, 2009.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of with observation that the petitioner, if so advised, may take recourse of the alternative remedy.
