Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Maniyari P.S. Case No. 409 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273, 420, 468, 471, 120B of Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a), 32(2)(3), 41(1)(2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 15.12.2022 and there is recovery recovery of 4637.52 litres of illicit foreign liquor from his possession and he has no criminal antecedent. Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of

Considering the period of custody and recovery of liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise Court No. 2, Muzaffarpur in connection with Maniyari P.S. Case No. 409 of 2022. The address of the petitioner shall be verified by the court below before releasing the petitioner on Bail through the concerned Superintendent of Police and one of the bailor of the petitioner shall be a close blood relative.
