JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 14-03-2019 The petitioner wants creation of Jamabandi in his name after the death of his father in the year 2008. For the said purpose, he is said to have filed an application before the District Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari on 09.07.2018, a copy of which has been brought on record by way of Annexure-1 to the writ application.

In my opinion, the petitioner's remedy lies under the Bihar Land Dispute Resolution Act, 2009, which he can avail by making appropriate application.

I am not commenting upon the merits of the petitioner's claim.

This application is disposed of with an observation that the petitioner shall be at liberty to apply for creation of
