2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Udakishunganj P.S. Case No. 188 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 386, 506, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation, the accused persons along with 5-6 unknown persons equipped with weapon demanded ransom from the informant and when he denied, they started abusing him and assaulted him with iron rod, causing fracture on his left hand. Further, co-accused Gopal Mandal assaulted him with lathi.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is a person of clean antecedent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is case and counter case. The members

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13330 of 2024(2) dt.14-03-2024 2/2 of petitioner's side have also suffered injuries and on the similar footing, co-accused Gopal Mandal has been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 9141 of 2024.

5. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Udakishunganj, Madhepura in connection with Udakishunganj P.S. Case No. 188 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
