2. The present petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief(s):

"(a) The respondents be directed/commanded to settle the lands to each of the petitioners the area as indicated against their names in the list (Annexure-2) and necessary Purcha/ document in that regard be

(b) The respondents be commanded/directed construct residential accommodation under Indra Awas Yojna/any other scheme at the cost of the government over the lands in possession of and allotted to the petitioners.

(c) It be held and directed that the petitioners be not disturbed or harassed by any authority either Revenue, Police or Administrative and they be allowed to enjoy peaceful and uninterfered possession over the lands in question.

(d) By an ad-interim order the respondents be directed to allot, construct and ensure all civic amenities to the petitioners in the house to built up during the pendency of this writ application.

(e) Any other relief or relief's which the petitioners be found entitled to be granted to them."

3. A counter affidavit has come on behalf of the Collector, Patna according in which, in paragraph no.10, it has been recorded that if the petitioners are landless, they should approach the appropriate authority and the matter shall be taken to its logical conclusion.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that they shall be separately filing the petition before the appropriate authority alongwith all the relevant document to show that they are landless person.

5. Needles to add, if such such petition is preferred in next four weeks, the respondents are duty bound to take the same to its logical conclusion preferably by 31st March, 2026.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
