The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Lalganj P.S. Case No. 18 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, petitioner caused firearm injury to one Vikram Kumar.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that the police after investigation submitted final form against the petitioner finding the case false, but differing with the same learned court below took cognizance against petitioner and others under Section 307, 461, 379/34 and section 27 of the Arms Act. Counsel for informant vehemently opposed the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7668 of 2023(2) dt.18-04-2023 2/2 for bail and submitted that petitioner is named in the FIR and there is specific and direct allegation of causing firearm injury to Vikram Kumar and petitioner has got three criminal antecedents.

Considering the facts aforesaid and criminal antecedents, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner abovenamed on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) vinita/- U T
