====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 16-02-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Supaul Nadi P. S. Case No. 68 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(1) 80(2), 238, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. As per F.I.R., daughter of the informant was killed due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry by the named accused persons, including this petitioner, and her dead body was dumped near Tilyuga river.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is husband of the deceased. Petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is in custody since 04.06.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation that he along with other accused persons killed the daughter of informant.
6. Considering the nature of accusation and gravity of the offence and the fact that deceased died in her matrimonial house in unnatural circumstances within seven years of marriage, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
7. However, since petitioner is in custody since 04.06.2025, Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
