2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 414, 353, 420, 467, 468, 471, 323/34 of the Indian Penal Code registered in connection with Jagdishpur P.S. Case No. 172 of 2018.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated on the accusation that the motorcycle in question registered in the petitioner's name had different engine number and chassis number. There is delay in institution of the F.I.R. on 08.05.2018 for the alleged occurrence of 07.05.2018 and the F.I.R. has been sent to the court on 11.05.2018. Co-accused Chhhathu Singh, father of the petitioner, has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 39850 of 2018. The petitioner claims

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8739 of 2019(2) dt.14-02-2019 2/2 clean antecedents.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations, gravity of the offence alleged and considering that the engine number and chassis number of the motorcycle registered in the petitioner's name did not tally, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed.
