The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 306/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged against the petitioner that on promise to marry, the petitioner has established physical relationship with the daughter of the informant and continued it for one year but thereafter he refused to get marry with her, as a result of which, the daughter of the informant committed suicide. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner has no concern with the suicide of the victim. No.17480 of 2021(3) dt.22-02-2022 2/2 vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner and submitted that there is direct allegation against the petitioner that he established physical relationship with the victim on promise of marriage and on his denial to marry, the victim committed suicide. The witnesses have also supported the prosecution version.

Considering the above-stated facts, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
