JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 15-11-2021 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned APP appearing on behalf of the State. Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Raxaul (Adapur) P.S. Case No. 280 of 2018, registered for offence punishable under Sections 302/34, 201/34 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner happens to be the husband and the allegation is of causing death of his wife.

Learned counsel on behalf of the petitioner submits that there is absolutely nothing against the petitioner, she died in her parental home (maike) and later on he has been made accused and is in custody since 09.10.2018 and prays for bail. Heard learned APP opposes the prayer for bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18137 of 2021(3) dt.15-11-2021 2/2 of the petitioner.

In view of report sent to this Court vide Letter No. 319 dated 02.11.2021, the trial has commenced, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the application stands dismissed. This Court, however, directs the Court below to conclude the trial expeditiously and preferably within a period of nine months.
