The petitioner seeks bail in Chewara P.S. Case No.06 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Allegation is that the petitioner was arrested in drunken condition and recovery of 20 liters of country made liquor from a plastic bag.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case having no criminal antecedent and he in custody since 10.01.2020. Further submission is that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is ready to co-operate with the investigation.

Considering nature of allegation, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Sessions JudgeII-cum- Special Judge, Sheikhpura in connection with Chewara P.S. Case No.06 of 2020 with condition that the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation/trial, failing which the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
