Mr. Yogendra Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 20-03-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. on behalf of the State.

The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Gopalganj (Town) P.S. Case No. 915 of 2022 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 307, 325, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code in which Section 302 of Indian Penal Code was added later.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 18.09.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 54069 of 2023 with an observation to learned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10325 of 2024(3) dt.20-03-2024 2/2 trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same as soon as possible.

In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report with regard to present stage of trial dated 15th February, 2024 has been received and the same is kept at flag 'A'. From its perusal it appears that the trial may require 8-9 months to conclude the trial and the same is pending for appearance of the accused persons.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within eight months, failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail.
