JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 04-02-2020 Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 19 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 384 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution case, there was demand of extortion from two mobiles and during investigation name of petitioner has come.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the mobile does not belong to him and he is in custody since 17.2.2019 and charge sheet has been submitted. Heard learned APP and learned counsel for the informant, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that on failure to realise the amount the petitioner again came to the house of the informant and made firing and caused injury to the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6161 of 2020(2) dt.04-02-2020 2/2 nephew of the informant and later on he succumbed to the injuries and petitioner is kingpin of the case. It is further submitted that petitioner has criminal antecedents which he has not mentioned in the petition.

In view of above facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
