JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 27-02-2020 Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Shahpur (Karnamepur) P.S. Case No. 302 of 2018, corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 317 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by the then co-ordinate Bench of this Court by order dated 8.7.2019 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 24313 of 2019 and allegation against the petitioner and others is of firing on the deceased, causing his death.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is general allegation against all the accused persons and he is in custody since long and till date there is no substantial progress in the trial.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6839 of 2020(3) dt.27-02-2020 2/2 Heard learned APP and learned counsel for the informant, who has opposed the prayer for bail on the ground that several injuries were found on the person of deceased as per post mortem report and trial is being delayed the instance of petitioner and other accused persons due to filing of discharge petition.

In view of above facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
