2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Spl. (POCSO) Case No. 241 of 2024 arising out of Masaurhi P.S. Case No. 749 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections-65(1) and 65(2) of B.N.S.S. and Section-4 of POCSO Act.

3. According to FIR, when the informant's daughter aged about 9 years was alone in her house, the petitioner committed rape upon her and when she started crying, he gave Rs. 10/- in order to pacify her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12854 of 2025(6) dt.13-08-2025 2/2 that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He submitted further that the speed of the trial is not satisfactory.

5. Mr. J. N. Thakur, learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail by submitting that the trial is in full swing and only two witnesses are left to be examined.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, presently, I am not inclined to enlarge bail to the petitioner and accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) A.K.V.//- U T
