The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is a case of recovery of liquor from the Gumti of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner has no concern with the said Gumti and he has clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

In view of the fact that the said liquor was recovered

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7625 of 2022(2) dt.29-07-2022 2/2 from the Gumti of the petitioner, as such, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
