The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8500 of 2022(2) dt.29-07-2022 2/3 Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 332, 353, 427, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 45 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

There is recovery of 55 litres country made liquor from the apprehended accused persons. They disclosed the name of the petitioners as their associates. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioners were not apprehended from the spot. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioners. The seized motorcycles do not belong to the petitioners. The petitioners have no concern with the seized liquor. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that except petitioner No. 10, no other petitioner has criminal antecedent. In the facts and circumstance of the case, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousands)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8500 of 2022(2) dt.29-07-2022 3/3 each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Majhaulia P.S.
