Ms.Gulnar Begum ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 04-02-2020 Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sour Bazar P.S. Case No. 410 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 498A and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner happens to be husband of the informant and it is said that she was assaulted and there is specific allegation that petitioner gave knife blow on her neck, causing injury. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that injuries were not found to be caused by sharp cutting weapon and they are simple in nature and he is in custody since 29.10.2019.

Heard learned APP, who has opposed the prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6140 of 2020(2) dt.04-02-2020 2/2 bail of the petitioner stating that allegation is serious in nature. In view of above facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. However, once charge has been framed in this case, petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
