JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 08-09-2022 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs :- "(i) For issuance of writ of Mandamus or other appropriate writ(s) commanding the respondents (I) To take decision with regard to issuance of D.B.B.L. Gun under the provision of Rule 25(1)(a) of the Arms Rule 2016 and Arms Act, 1959.

(II) To take a final decision on the application filed by the petitioner for grant of D.B.B.L. Gun license under Family Heirloom Policy, to direct the District

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the requisite application was filed by the petitioner on 09.09.2021 before the District Magistrate, Bettiah, however, no decision has been taken, till date.

In such view of the matter, this Court deems it fit and appropriate to dispose off the present writ petition with a direction to the District Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran to dispose off the aforesaid petition filed by the petitioner, if not already disposed off, within a period of 12 weeks of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
