The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Ladaniya P.S. Case No. 286 of 2022 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 363, 366 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 21.06.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 3211 of 2023 with an observation to learned trial court to conclude the trial expeditiously. In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report with regard to present stage of trial dated 21st February,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11764 of 2024(3) dt.20-03-2024 2/2 2024 has been received and the same is kept at flag 'R'. From its perusal it appears that the trial be concluded within a period of five months No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within stipulated time as mentioned in its report (ie. 5 months), failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail.
