2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offence under Sections 341, 323, 324, 354(B), 504, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 & 6 of the POCSO Act, 2012.

3. As per F.I.R., while the victim (informant) was returning from tuition class, this petitioner alongwith co-accused Roshan Jamal @ Md Kaif and one unknown person forcibly tried to kidnap the victim, however on protest, they took her near the Toddy tree and thereafter, this petitioner tore her cloth and by pressing her neck, tried to sexually assault her. It is further alleged that accused persons also assaulted victim with iron rod and knife, due to which, she sustained injury.

4. The victim (informant) has supported the prosecution case in her statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. Petitioner has also got five criminal antecedent.

5. Considering the nature of accusation and criminal antecedent, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
