Mr.Harendra Prasad ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 04-04-2019 Heard Sri Alok Kumar Alok, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Harendra Prasad, learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

The sole petitioner, apprehending his arrest in connection with Ahiyapur P.S. Case No. 1121 of 2018 registered for the offence under Section 364(A)/ 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 has prayed for grant of bail in the event of his arrest or surrender.

Earlier, by order dated 14.02.2019 case diary was called for by a co-ordinate Bench of this court and direction was issued not to take coercive step against the petitioner. Case diary has been received and kept on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7375 of 2019(3) dt.04-04-2019 2/2 victim during investigation was recovered and his statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 was recorded, he did not disclose the name of petitioner. Fact remains that in the case a boy was kidnapped for ransom and demand of Rs. 30 lakh was made. One of the accused who has been named by victim also has disclosed the name of the petitioner. In such serious cases there is no reason to entertain the prayer for anticipatory bail. The petition stands dismissed.
