2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"i. to issue an appropriate order/orders,

Patna High Court CWJC No.15236 of 2017(2) dt.05-05-2025 2/3 direction/directions including a writ preferably in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding and directing upon the Respondents no.-6 D.C.L.R. Naugacchiya to expendiate the hearing of Parcha Cancellation Case No. 01 of 2015-16.

ii. To direct the D.C.L.R. Naugacchiya to cancel the Parwana (Parcha) issued to the private respondent s with respect to the lands bearing Plot No. 4449 appertaining to Khata No. 1672 of Mauza Tintanga in the District of Bhagalpur.

iii. To and any other relief to which the petitioners are entitled in facts and circumstances of the case."

3. It is unfortunate that even to expedite a case, in this case, the Parcha Cancellation Case No. 01 of 2015-16 pending before the respondent no. 6, the Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Naugacchiya, Bhagalpur, the petitioners have to invoke writ jurisdiction.

4. No counter affidavit is on record despite the writ petition was filed in the year 2017.

5. However, learned State counsel submits that if the same is still pending, it will be taken to its logical conclusion in

6. The Court is afraid, if the same is not been concluded in last ten years, it is an unfortunate state of affairs.

7. However, since there is no reply of the respondent, accepting the State version, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the concerned respondent to immediately take the Parcha Cancellation Case No. 01 of 2015-2016 to its logical conclusion if not concluded and in no case, beyond three months.
