The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with G.O. Case No. 155 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 36 litres of illicit Nepali Soufi liquor from the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 13.12.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the
