The prayer of the petitioner is for a direction to the respondents to provide the petitioner with the Meter Reading Test Certificate in respect of the meter installed in the house of the petitioner. The petitioner doubts the guinness of the meter so installed. Mr. Vinay Kirti Singh learned counsel appearing for the Power Distribution Company submits that the meters are supplied to the Distribution Company after being tested by the laboratories and even before installation its correctness is tested. He submits that in case the meter would be moving erratically, the grievance can be looked into

Patna High Court CWJC No.11416 of 2016 dt.22-12-2016 2/2 but in absence of any such complaint, there is no reason for the petitioner to have apprehension on the genuineness of the meter. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and for the present I do not find any reason to grant indulgence to the grievance raised. Should the petitioner have any grievance against functioning of the meter he shall be at liberty to draw the attention of the respondents. The writ petition is disposed of.
